The latest edition of (un)fair, held in Milan at the premises of Superstudio Maxi from March 2 to 5, brought important satisfactions to Sayato.
The Gallery’s participation was dedicated to “(un)common emotions” through the works of the artists on display. (un)common emotions because the proposed works did not follow a common language, ranging from pop to material to abstract. But at the same time they were able to give the common emotions experienced by those who love art: surprise, awe and admiration.
Among the most photographed works is Francesco Diotallevi‘s “cat with a chainsaw” – Psycat – along with the artist’s other ironic works. While Sondra Segala ‘s textural realizations managed to catalyze the attention of those present, who were attracted by the materials used and the vivid colors. Also completing the Milan review is the “Nuvola” by debutant Roberta Guarinoni, capable of capturing admiring glances with its colors and suggestions, and the two “Nemosegni” by the multifaceted Alberto Nemo, who created for Milan two works from the collection reviewed by Dante Ferretti, a multiple Oscar winner for screenwriting.
Also intriguing and attention-grabbing were the two chairs available to visitors who wanted to quietly admire the works on display. On them was clearly visible the invitation to pause: “Beauty deserves attention: sit and admire, without haste.”
All in all, many confirmations for the Gallery and a strong motivational boost for Sayato, which is destined to always come up with new and talented figures in the diverse world of contemporary art.
